Clinical Interests
Kristin has experience working with children birth - 21 years of age with severe to profound disabilities. She specializes in Augmentative Alternative Communication (AAC), Autism, and Language Development and is passionate about using your child's interests and daily routines to help them communicate. Kristin uses Evidence-Based therapy approaches and emphasizes the importance of caregiver involvement to best support the whole child as they learn to communicate.

Nia’s main clinical interests include feeding, dysphagia, voice and upper airway disorders, neurogenic communication disorders, and expressive language delays. Nia is passionate about expanding her clinical knowledge and conducting research to better serve patients. Throughout her clinical rotations, she gained experience with a wide variety of disorders across the lifespan.

Anyssa is a part of the team at Communication Cottage Therapy and will start in September of 2022.
Anyssa worked with Kristin Weingart directly during one of her internship placements and has a passion for working with children.

Clinical Interests
Brielle has clinical experience with birth to 21 year olds. Throughout her clinical internships she gained a wide variety of experience in many settings including private practice, school systems, outpatient settings, and the UNCG Speech and Hearing Clinic. Her clinical interests include articulation disorders, play-based therapy, receptive/expressive language disorders, and fluency disorders. She has a passion for providing therapy in your child’s natural environment, providing parent education and encouraging parent involvement during therapy sessions to maximize communication and progress.
Hobbies:
Brielle enjoys spending time with her family and friends, snuggling with her dog named Walker, and relaxing on the beach.
